Maid to Order (1987) follows Jessie Montgomery, a spoiled and wealthy young woman who takes her privileged life for granted. After a serious argument with her father, her fairy godmother magically erases her wealthy identity and sends her to work as a maid.
Forced to live and work without money or status, Jessie struggles at first but slowly learns responsibility, kindness, friendship, and the value of hard work. As she changes, she begins to understand how her selfish behavior affected others.
In the end, Jessie becomes a more caring and mature person, proving that sometimes losing everything is the best way to discover what truly matters.
